We are currently looking for a HR Coordinator to join our HR team in East Malling, to support us in an array of tasks and responsibilities including key new starter documentation, obtaining, and recording holiday leave data and managing Kingswood’s internal employee awards process.
This is an FTC of 9 months with some possibility of extension. Please note, this role will be based in the office 4/5 per week initially.

What you’ll do as a HR Coordinator:
* Prepare and check offer letters and contracts of employment for new starters.
* Carry out background checks for all new starters.
* Keep the HR database and associated logs up to date with starters, leavers, and amendment data, ensuring that managers/departments are kept fully informed.
* Responsible for calculating and collecting information on sickness, holidays, and other absences from departments along with general maintaining central absence records and answering queries.
* Prepare, check, and despatch mail-merge letters notifying salary review results or other changes in employment conditions to individual members of staff.
* Process leavers in line with Company processes ensuring a smooth and effective offboarding.
* Support the HR team and wider management on collating and disseminating HR management information monthly to support the development of the business.
* Manage the Company’s internal employee awards process.
* Respond to requests from other organisations/individuals for references on ex-employees.
* Manage the central HR email inbox.
* Take minutes of meetings and disseminate actions on a timely basis.
* Assist the Recruitment Manager with recruitment administration and data gathering.
* Provide administration support on L&D metrics as part of our People Team reporting.
* Provide administrative and ordering of study support materials.
* Act as the point of contact for L&D suppliers as required by the L&D Manager.
* Operate as the initial point of contact for L&D, maintaining excellent communications with stakeholders and escalating any complicated enquires to the L&D Manager.
* Provide administrative and research support to the Facilities & Procurement Manager
This list is not exhaustive, and the job holder will be expected to undertake any other task as reasonably requested by their line manager where appropriate training and/or guidance is provided.

Good attention to detail
If you have worked in a similar role before this would be an advantage
Good numeracy skills and ability to manage calculations effectively.
Ability to manage numerous tasks using your own initiative.
Previous experience using HR systems such as, HiBob (not essential)
