Job Description

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Contract: 6 - 12 months+

Location: Clitheroe - 3 days per week on site, 2 working from home

Rate: £40 - £45/ph Umbrella

SRG are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer / Designer to join a successful client on an initial 6 month contract with the view of extension.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Carry out design calculations ensuring full compliance with all relevant codes and standards

Plan, organise and provide technical support for internal and external technicians during the installation and commissioning of projects

Work with internal customers to develop projects and modifications.

Criteria:

HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design

Experience working within a manufacturing industry

Experience working on PED/ PSSR piping systems
