Guidewire Developer

Initial 3-month Contract Role

Fully Remote

£500 - £600, Inside IR35

We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Services Provider who are looking for a Guidewire Developer to join their team; in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using Guidewire's suite of products.

As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for:

Design, code, and test new functionalities and enhancements in Guidewire applications.

Customize Guidewire solutions to align with business requirements.

collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Integrate Guidewire with other enterprise systems for seamless operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

Optimise application performance for scalability and reliability.

Follow best practices in coding and development.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Excellent experience in Guidewire tools.

Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and familiarity with Gosu programming language.

Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and build tools such as Maven and Ant.
