Our client is currently seeking a skilled Building Control Team Leader to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the building control team with a focus on regulatory compliance
Ensuring all building control activities comply with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) requirements, particularly BSR 2F (4)
Providing expert advice on building control matters
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance within the team
Overseeing inspections, assessments, and approvals to ensure compliance with building regulations
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
Preparing reports and documentation as required
Attending site three to four days a week to ensure on-site activities are effectively managed
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in building control
Proven leadership and team management skills
In-depth understanding of BSR 2F and related regulations
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational and documentation skills
Capability to work three to four days a week on-site
