Smile Education is seeking a Reception Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Dudley for a long-term maternity cover role. This full-time position will start in January 2025 and run through to January 2026, offering a great opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team in the early years foundation stage (EYFS).

Contract Type: Full-time, term-time onlyKey Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Reception class pupils in line with the EYFS curriculum.

Planning and preparing engaging lessons that support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment to encourage children's creativity and confidence.

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and the school leadership team.

Collaborating with the wider school team, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Proven experience working in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is highly desirable.

A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
