We have an exciting opportunity for an Estates & Facilities Support Officer based in Kempston for one of our clients on a full-time temporary basis. Our clients are reputable and well-established within the public sector. This is a temporary contract position until the end of March 2025.
Responsibilities of the Estates & Facilities Support Officer
Management of planned and responsive maintenance matters.
Attend sites to oversee ongoing site works, check on progress, report property defects and provide detailed reports.
Ensure compliance matters are met and coordinate the development of authority estate records.
Cover both rolling condition surveys and estate strategy decisions.
Financial assessments.
Participate in condition surveys and life cycle management reports.
Requirements for a successful Estates & Facilities Support Officer
Level 4 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.
Full clean driving licence.
DBS clearance.
Several years of Construction/Civils experience of the maintenance and service contracts.
Strong working M&E knowledge of modern construction techniques, groundworks, roofing and more.
Experience monitoring and controlling budgets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with experience using CAD.
