Job Title: Cladding Supervisor
Location: Cheshire
Pay: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Cladding Supervisor to oversee a large building project in Crewe and afterwards, other projects in North Wales and North West.
THE JOB
Supervise and Assist with Cladding Installation:
You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roof and side cladding, including single skin, twin-skin, and composite panels. Alongside supervising the team, you will also get hands-on to ensure the work is completed to a high standard. Your expertise in cladding will be essential to guiding the team through complex installations.
Timber Framework, Doors, Guttering, and Flashing Installation:
In addition to cladding, you'll supervise and participate in the installation of timber frameworks, doors, guttering, and flashing.
Interpretation of Technical Drawings:
You'll need to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings, ensuring that all installations meet the project specifications.
Focus on Health and Safety:
As a supervisor, you will lead by example, prioritising health and safety at all times. This includes adhering to safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and ensuring the team is using appropriate protective equipment.
Motivating and Guiding the Team:
A key part of your role will be motivating and guiding the cladding team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet the expected quality standards.
Point of Contact for Site Manager:
As the Cladding Supervisor, you will act as the main liaison between the team and the Site Managers. YOU
Qualifications:
A valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
Holding an IPAF or MEWP licence is also desirable, showing your ability to operate elevated work platforms when necessary
Leadership Potential and Growth Mindset:
We're seeking someone with leadership qualities who is eager to grow into a management role.
Experience in Cladding and Construction:
Previous experience in cladding and construction is highly beneficial for this role. If you have worked on similar projects before, your expertise will be valuable in ensuring the successful completion of these poultry building projects
Ability to Read and Interpret Drawings:
A critical skill for this position is the ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings.
