Key Responsibilities:
Lead the procurement of IT software, hardware, and related services, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations and standards.
Develop and manage contracts with IT vendors and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions meet organisational and legal requirements.
Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and create procurement strategies that align with organisational goals.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT procurement.
Ensure compliance with public sector policies, including RFPs, RFQs, and tendering processes.Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT procurement, with a focus on public sector contracts.
Strong knowledge of software and hardware procurement processes.
Excellent understanding of public procurement regulations and frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Strong communication, project management, and analytic skills.
Familiarity with procurement tools and systems
