Job Title: Site Manager

Job Type: Temporary 6 months - starting ASAP

Location: Needham Market

Salary: £250 - £270 CIS 

Working Hours: 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team for a 6-month commercial project near Needham Market. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial/industrial construction project. You will be responsible for day-to-day site management and will work closely with the Project Manager, acting as the Number 2 on-site.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the construction site and ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct staff to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Monitor progress and prepare reports for the Project Manager.

Handle site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.

Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and forecasting project requirements.

Desirable Experience

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification – mandatory.

First Aid certification – mandatory.

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card – mandatory.

Proven experience in managing commercial or industrial construction projects.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Experience working on similar commercial/industrial projects.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
