Customer Service Role
Position within the organisation:
This role sits within the sales function based within office in London, and it reports directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Key purpose:
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of global customer orders and enquiries. Liaising with the internal and external technical sales team to deliver outstanding customer service. Key to the role is to act as the interface between industry and the customer by being the company's first point of contact in assisting the clients with products and services.
Key priorities:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Process orders and contacting customers to clarify any queries on orders and services.
Liaise with Internal and external sales, manufacturing and quality teams.
Maintain a professional manner at all times.
Key responsibilities:
Act as a first point of contact for customers to ensure the smooth processing of orders.
Ensure all order specifications are input correctly on the system.
Assist the customers by advising and resolving order queries.
Communicate with engineering and production team to clarify customer order inquiries and ensure on time dispatch of products.
Ensure that customer queries are dealt in a prompt and professional manner.
Support the customer service team and wider sales teams to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
Perform administrative duties such as keeping document records in an accurate and clear manner to make them available to management for evaluation.
Work under the guidance of the Head of the Commercial Office to help reach the company's targets.
Ensure compliance to GDPR regulations relevant to role

Preferred: MS Office
Essential (min qualification) : Bachelor Degree
Previous customer service experience (1-2 years)
Experience using applications such as Salesforce
Language skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
