Safeguarding Officer
* Up to £40,000 per annum
* Home based with travel
* 12 month Fixed Term Contract
About the role:
We are seeking an individual who has the experience in safeguarding, delivering safeguarding training and improvements. The Safeguarding Officer will have the energy, ideas, and ambition to make a sustained difference to our residents; people who share our commitment to improving the wellbeing for our residents.
The role of the Safeguarding Officer will:
* Support in all safeguarding matters, ensuring they are managed effectively.
* Promote effective safeguarding across the Housing Services portfolio.
* To provide up to date training to colleagues.
* To provide coaching, guidance and advice to housing colleagues to enable them to appropriately handle safeguarding cases.
* Support the development and implementation of improvements, lessons learned and safeguarding governance system
