EHS manager to join them on a contract basis for their project in Groningen.
Ideally, candidates will have experience as an
EHS Manager on large-scale data centres, defence, O&G, or industrial projects with main contractors.
With a proven track record of delivering large complex engineering solutions on some of Europe's most high-profile Data Centre schemes, it is a great time to join the business as the project wins increase.
My client is open to the H&S Manager's background and years of experience if they can demonstrate proven experience on high-value construction projects in different sectors with reputable Main Contractors or Specialist MEP Contractors and have a
RIGHT TO WORK IN EUROPE OR EUROPEAN PASSPORT. EHS Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects operate in compliance with all statutory requirements and best practice.
- Highlight and Advise on HSE related issues from preconstruction to completion of all associated project works.
- Implement policy, procedures, and management systems.
- Advise & assist site management in drafting and communicating of company policies and procedures. Support the development and delivery of the project induction and other communications to the workforce.
- Provide advice, guidance, and instruction in all health & safety matters to management, safety representatives and employees (including subcontractors where appropriate).
- Assist Health & Safety Manager in accreditation applications Auditing and Reporting.
- Facilitate internal and external inspections/ audits and ensure the timely close out of any issues arising.
- Conduct regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior company management. Ensure issues follow-up is required to ensure that actions are dealt with immediately.
EHS Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, a related discipline or equivalent practical experience (a minimum of five years of experience in EHS).
- GradIOSH, or other professional designation(s).
- Knowledgeable in the environment, health, safety, or a related field.
- Willing to travel, internationally.
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
- Ability to work independently and drive results.
