SEND Teaching Assistants Needed - Hackney

A number of special needs schools in Hackney are currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of positions. These range from flexible daily supply to short-term and long-term roles, offering a chance to work with students who have diverse needs, including ASD, MLD, ADHD, PMLD, and SEMH.

What we offer:

Flexible opportunities: daily supply, short-term, and long-term roles

Competitive daily pay ranging from £86 to £100 depending on experience

Full-time or part-time positions, depending on your availability

Opportunities within primary and secondary SEND schools across HackneyRequirements:

Eligibility to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS check (registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one)

Proven experience working with children, ideally in a SEND setting

Understanding of SEND and relevant experience supporting students with additional needs

Strong classroom management, knowledge of the curriculum, and excellent communication skills
