Job Description

I am working alongside a blue chip Tier 1 main contractor who operate across both the construction and civil sectors. Due to an increase in contracts being awarded they are looking to onboard a General foreman for upcoming highway and infrastructure schemes being delivered.

General foreman responsibilities:

* Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.

* Managing and allocating plant, labour and materials.

* Site supervision.

* Management of direct labour and subcontractors.

* Completing site inductions.

* Site diaries.

* Attending meetings with project management teams.

* Ensuring health and safety compliance.

* Liasing with the client.

General foreman responsibilities:

* Right to work in the UK.

* CSCS card - Gold/ Black.

* NVQ level 3 or above.

* SSSTS/ SMSTS.

* First aid.

* TWC - Desirable.

* Safety critical medical.

* HW passport - we can assist.

* Previous experience in a general foreman role.

* Previous experience with highways and structures.

* Full UK driving licence.
