CK Group are recruiting for a HS&E Advisor, to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough, on a contract basis initially for 12 months.

Salary:

Hourly: From £20.00 PAYE or £27.00 via Umbrella.

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating value for people living with severe diseases in immunology and neurology now and into the future.

HS&E Advisor Role:

Development and update of local HS&E procedures.

Delivery of local workshops to compliment company procedures and policies.

Coordinating/attending meetings representing HS&E systems and compliance across the UK & I remit.

Support and undertake HS&E audits and assessments.

Ensure regulatory licenses are maintained and kept relevant.

Liaison to safety and environmental representatives.

Supporting the risk management system i.e. facilitating risk assessors and/or undertaking risk assessments and reviewing control measures in place.

Supporting the environmental management system i.e. the impacts and aspects register & targets.

Supporting the Vigilance systems such as life-safety systems etc. 

Your Background:

NEBOSH Certificate; with accreditation to IOSH at least at affiliate level. 

Preferably NEBOSH Diploma and/or Environmental qualification.

Degree  or higher.

Experience of working in an organisation that relocated ideal, but not critical.

Competent in providing management systems and a risk management approach to HS&E. 

Capable of providing effective decisions on the ‘shop floor’ for approving/ authorising works where appropriate, and capable of raising issues upwards to appropriate management for identification.

Individual who is a fantastic communicator, engaging and enthusiastic in ‘selling’ HS&E to our stakeholders.

This role is based at our clients site in Slough.
