Joiner

Location: Between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly

Contract: 6-month initial contract

Rate: £23 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team for an exciting opportunity within a Rail environment. This role involves working on various projects across multiple stations, primarily focused on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tickets.

Key Details

Shifts: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Hours: Mainly day shifts, with night shifts required for emergency maintenance.

Travel: A company pool vehicle will be provided for travel between sites.

The role as a Maintenance Joiner

* Maintain cleanliness and safety of public areas, including waiting rooms and restrooms.

* Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

* Collaborate with other trades and maintenance staff for larger projects.

* Install and repair fire doors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

* Construct and maintain fixtures and fittings, such as benches and signage.

* Perform general carpentry tasks, including framing, skirting, and cabinetry.

* Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and surfaces.
