About the role:
Are you a passionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher ready to inspire young learners? We are a welcoming, inclusive community school located in Finchley, London, seeking a dynamic and caring EYFS teacher to join our exceptional Early Years department. As an EYFS Teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of our youngest students, helping them to explore, grow, and develop a love for learning.
You’ll be teaching a diverse group of curious and energetic children, using creative and interactive methods to support their personal, social, and academic development. The role is part-time, offering a great balance for those seeking flexibility. ECTs are welcome to apply as we have a robust mentorship program to support your professional growth.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
• Experience in teaching or working within an EYFS setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A commitment to inclusivity and a passion for teaching children from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
• Foster a nurturing and safe environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing individualised feedback and support.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s learning journey.
• Encourage children’s curiosity and creativity through play-based learning activities.
