The last couple of years have seen Linaker grow exponentially and 2025 will be no exception. Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result, we are now looking for a talented Operational Excellence Administrator to join us on an initial temporary contract for 3-6 months.
Role Overview
As an Operational Excellence Administrator you will play a crucial role in our finance department by managing and overseeing the administration of ongoing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Linaker’s success by ensuring effective operations and project management support.
Key Responsibilities of an Operational Excellence Administrator
Liaising with subcontractors and their internal teams
Reviewing Engineers planners and scheduling additional works where suitable
Keeping track of 'Work in Progress' and tracking any overdue jobs
Reviewing PPW and contacting subcontractors for updates
Updating our internal systems and ensuring accurate notes are inputted
Closing jobs when complete and passing to our Contract Support function for billing
Maintain organised records of all WIP-related documents and communications.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar administrative or finance role, ideally within the construction or facilities management sector.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software systems.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
