Job Title: Steel Erector

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Start Date: 21/10/2024

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour

Contract Length: 3 weeks

Working Hours: 07:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Weekend Shifts: Available with x1.5 uplift

Lodge: Provided for travelling candidates

Job Overview:

Mane Infrastructure is looking for experienced Steel Erectors to join a major redevelopment project in Avonmouth, Bristol. This role involves working on a large-scale industrial site, assembling and installing structural steel components to meet project specifications.

We're looking for candidates who are familiar with safe lifting techniques, can work comfortably at heights, and have experience with the precise alignment of steel structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and align structural steel components.

Follow engineering drawings and site plans accurately.

Use appropriate tools and equipment for fastening steel structures.

Perform work at heights safely, following all HSE regulations.

Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards.

Report any hazards or issues to the site supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience in structural steel erection on industrial or large-scale projects.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

Confident working at heights and with heavy equipment.

CSCS card (essential).

IPAF or MEWP certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Strong awareness of health and safety protocols
