Job Title: Fire Engineer - VESDA Smoke Detection and Aspiration Systems 

Contract Duration: 21st - 25th October

Location: Northampton 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Engineer with specialized knowledge in VESDA smoke detection and aspiration units for a short-term contract from 21st to 25th October. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of VESDA systems, ensuring they meet all safety regulations and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and maintain VESDA smoke detection and aspiration systems on-site.

Perform testing, fault-finding, and calibration of aspiration units to ensure optimal functionality.

Ensure all work complies with relevant fire safety regulations, standards (such as BS 5839), and site-specific requirements.

Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding system performance and best practices.

Complete accurate documentation and reports on the system status, any issues encountered, and resolutions applied.

Liaise with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Contract length: 21st - 25th October (5 days)

Competitive daily rate
