Setting Out Engineer

Location: Bridgwater

Rate: £270 - £290 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Ongoing Contract

Options Resourcing are working with a key client in Bridgwater to recruit an experienced Setting Out Engineer for an ongoing civils project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team and work on a variety of tasks across the site. The role involves setting out for multiple phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing accurate setting out and surveying for various site activities

- Assisting with the coordination and communication between site teams to ensure smooth progression of work

- Ensuring all work is carried out to the specifications and designs provided by the client

- Monitoring the project's progress and ensuring that any issues are addressed swiftly

- Maintaining accurate records of setting out and providing feedback to the project management team

- Supporting the overall site operation and ensuring health and safety standards are met

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer.

- Competency with total stations, GPS, and other setting out equipment

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

- A proactive approach to problem-solving on site
