About the role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to our pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your expertise will be invaluable as you assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that all students are actively participating and achieving their best. You will have the opportunity to work closely with children, helping them develop their academic and social skills in a nurturing environment.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
• A Level 4 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
• Lead small group interventions and one-to-one support for students who need extra help.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to learn.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop tailored learning plans for students with special educational needs.
