BAE SYSTEMS - GOVAN.

Sheet Metal Workers are required at BAE SYSTEMS - GOVAN.

The pay rate ranges from £19.40 to £35.62 per hour.

Shipbuilding or heavy industry background required.

What You’ll be Doing

• Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions

• Have all the basic hand skills, i.e. burning & chamfering of various gauges and types of plate and extrusions

• Ability to accurately mark out sheet plate/extrusions

• Correct use of grinders and associated consumables whilst adhering to the HAVS regulations

• Experience in use of strong-backs and fairing aids to prevent distortion

There should be a lot of flexibility with work. day shift, night shift and also weekend shifts.
