Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Duties:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace and aviation applications

Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software

Conduct feasibility studies and testing to ensure designs meet requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other systems

Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing process

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Proven experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry

Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry with interiors experience beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles and practises

Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent communication and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Professional engineering certification

Experience with FEA and simulation software

Working Conditions:

Office-based work with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities

May require travel to meet with clients or suppliers

Strict adherence to health and safety regulations
