Y Rôl
Fel Warden Cynorthwyol, byddwch yn patrolio, cynorthwyo a chynghori ymwelwyr yn ardaloedd prysuraf De Eryri, gan ganolbwyntio’n benodol ar Gader Idris.
Byddwch yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â'r Wardeniaid llawn amser i sicrhau diogelwch ymwelwyr, cynnal a chadw'r ardal, a diogelu'r amgylchedd trwy amrywiol brosiectau a dyletswyddau dyddiol.
Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:
- Meithrin perthynas â phreswylwyr, rheolwyr tir ac ymwelwyr
- Cynnal patrolau a chynnal arolygon ar Hawliau Tramwy Cyhoeddus
- Darparu gwybodaeth a dehongliad i ddefnyddwyr hamdden
- Cynorthwyo i reoli eiddo y mae Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol yn berchen arno neu'n ei reoli
- Gweithio gyda chymunedau lleol, gwirfoddolwyr a grwpiau addysgol

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales, and the largest natural lake in Wales.
We are now looking for an Assistant Warden to join us on a part-time, flexible basis, working weekends and busy periods including Bank Holidays.

The Role
As an Assistant Warden, you will patrol, assist, and advise visitors in the busiest areas of South Eryri, with a particular focus on Cader Idris.
You will work alongside the full-time Wardens to ensure the safety of visitors, maintain the area, and protect the environment through various projects and daily duties.
Additionally, you will:
- Foster relationships with residents, land managers, and visitors
- Undertake patrols and conduct surveys on the Public Rights of Way
- Provide information and interpretation for recreational users
- Assist in managing properties owned or managed by the National Park Authority
- Work with local communities, volunteers, and educational groups
About You
To be considered as an Assistant Warden, you will need:
- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Experience of engaging and working with the public
- Experience and knowledge of mountain walking and guiding groups
- Knowledge of outdoor activities and an understanding of the safe and responsible use of Eryri
- A full, valid driving licence
