Are you an experienced HR Generalist seeking a new opportunity in a fast moving manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading global manufacturing business, is seeking an HR Assistant for a 6 month period to work with the VP of HR and the Plant Manager to support their manufacturing site.
HR Assistant Role Details:
6 Month Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Onsite Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday)
Leicester based
Manufacturing business
What You'll Do as HR Assistant:
Support the Plant Manager with all employee and operational HR activities.
Handle general HR activities including grievances, disciplinaries
Provide contractual support.
Staff engagement activities
Supporting hiring activities and agency management
Data management to support attendance reviews, payroll checks, holiday reports to manage time off
Performance management review process
Review of policies and procedures plus staff handbook updates
Supported by VP HR.
Requirements:
HR Generalist experience
Manufacturing background, with experience in managing shift workers.
Health & Safety experience is a plus.
