Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Cover Teacher with a passion for supporting Key Stage 2 students? Looking for a flexible role in a supportive school environment?

We are a trusted education recruitment agency seeking an Experienced HLTA or Cover Teacher to work in a vibrant KS2 setting at one of our client schools in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school, offering flexibility for part-time or full-time applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and cover lessons across KS2 in the absence of class teachers.

Work with small groups or individual students, helping them to achieve their academic potential.

Lead and manage classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged and focused.

Provide additional support for students with varying learning needs, including adapting tasks where required.

Collaborate with staff to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Cover Teacher in a KS2 setting.

Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Ability to manage a classroom effectively and deliver engaging lessons.

Relevant HLTA qualification, teaching experience, or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is desirable.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to start immediately.

Open to part-time and full-time applicants.
