We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant mainstream secondary school in Lewisham. Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Assist with planning and preparing learning materials and resources.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their understanding of subjects.

Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

Participate in school activities, including extracurricular events and parent-teacher meetings.

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements:

A degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, or related fields preferred).

Passion for education and a desire to support students in their learning journey.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

A DBS check on the Update Service is required (or willingness to obtain one).

Previous child-based experience is preferred but not essential.
