Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Mainstream Secondary School - Greenwich

About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students across the school. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mainstream secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional support

Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN

Assist in monitoring and reporting student progress

Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

A degree in any subject (essential)

A valid DBS on the update service (essential)

Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to learning
