Location: Mainstream Secondary School, Lewisham
Position: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-Term until the end of the academic year
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team at a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a commitment to supporting students, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND to enhance their learning experience.
Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Monitor and track students' progress and report any concerns to teaching staff.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and self-confidence.
Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in an educational or similar setting is essential.
Experience supporting students with SEND is a must.
A valid DBS check on the update service is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
