Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced VMWare Engineer with active DV clearance for a contract role. This position requires a subject matter expert capable of identifying areas for improvement within a complex virtual infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency and a detail-oriented approach to optimizing VMWare environments.

£400-£500/day Outside

Initial 6 months - extensions likely

On-site in Wiltshire

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and management of VMWare infrastructure.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and configuration issues.

Analyze existing systems to detect areas for improvement and enhance overall efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust virtual solutions.

Ensure security and compliance standards are met.Requirements:

Active DV clearance (mandatory).

Extensive experience with VMWare technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to detecting and resolving issues.

Demonstrated expertise in virtualization and cloud environments.

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders
