Document Controller- Hertfordshire
To £225/Day DOE
Our client is an established contractor with extensive operations in Ireland, UK, and Europe. Due to full order book across all regions, our client is now looking for an organised and detail-oriented Document Controller for industries like utilities, groundworks, and light civils for six months contract. As a Document Controller you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project documentation, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is available to the project team, clients, and other stakeholders maintaining the smooth flow of information and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

Manage the flow of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and procedures.

Aid in the maintenance of management systems, updating and maintaining office policies, procedures and drawing registers for projects.
*
Establish and maintain document control processes and systems to track project documents throughout their lifecycle.
*
Coordinate document review, approval, and distribution processes, liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders, as necessary.
*
Organise and maintain project files and records, both electronically and in hard copy, in a systematic and accessible manner.
*
Prepare regular reports and updates on document status, distribution, and revisions to project stakeholders.
*
Ensure adherence to data security and confidentiality protocols in handling sensitive project information.
*
Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role in the construction industry, with exposure to large-scale projects.
*
Familiarity with construction documentation, terminology, and procedures.
*
Proficiency in using software and tools essential to the role such as Aconex, MS Office, Teams, Viewpoint, SharePoint, and other software relevant to the role.
*
Significant experience as Document Controller within construction.
*
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
*
Prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and reviewing documents.
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
