The Compliance Manager is responsible for setting technical standards for the business in alignment with statutory and good practice guidelines. This individual will provide guidance and support to front-end delivery teams to ensure compliance with the adopted technical standards. The role involves liaising with technical leads to contribute to the establishment and audit of best practice operational delivery, including HV/LV systems, Gas, Legionella, and LOLER activities. An essential part of the role is to audit and report on performance in the delivery of these standards.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
Drafting and rolling out technical standards throughout our clients FM business.
Auditing to ensure relevant compliance with technical standards.
Reviewing the latest guidance and legislation to ensure business compliance.
Drafting marketing collateral in liaison with the bid function to present the business as a leader in technical delivery.
Collaborating with Health & Safety managers to ensure best practices are adopted and documentation is thorough.
Working with the quality and business responsibility manager to ensure business processes related to compliance activities are in place.
Providing summary reports and data recommending business changes, outlining effects on operations and cost base.
Liaising with customers to provide legislative compliance support concerning their operations and assets.
Presenting monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports on the performance of the business in various compliance areas.
Raising awareness within technical teams about new standards and best practices.
Reviewing the market to ensure leading-edge technical systems and processes are adopted, enhancing the companys market position.
