SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Head of Sales & Events to join our clients team on a FTC in Birmingham. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to make a significant impact in a vibrant and growing environment.
FTC - 12 months
£35,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive bookings for the events space.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and attending industry events to expand the client base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their event experience.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales and events management, preferably within the hospitality or events sector.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clients.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
