Boat Builder (6 month Contract in Sweden)

We are looking for experienced Boat Builders who are looking to relocate on a tempoary basis of 6 months.

The role is based at a shipyard in Västervik, Sweden and you will be part of highly skilled team supporting on new build sports cruisers and yacht tenders.

TASKS

The work consists of assembly, installation and commissioning of all equipment on these boats.

It also includes various other work, such as installation of plumbing, engine work, steering and hydraulic equipment.

Formal requirements:

* At least 2-3 years experience as a boat builder or the equivalent competency level

* Detailed knowledge of Marine fit out/interior cabin fitting

* Extensive experience of all installations in a boat.

* You can understand and communicate technical issues and assimilate the contents of drawings.

To succeed in the role, we also believe that you have the following skills / qualities:

* Qualifed Boat Builder, Carpenter or Marine Electrician.

* Service-oriented and helpful

* Orderly and punctual

* A great interest in boats and knowledge about and around boats in general.

* Team player

* Support/mentor lesser skilled tradesmen if/when needed
