Bar Manager
Location: Ilford, Essex
Join a local leisure organisation as a Bar Manager and play a key role in overseeing not just daily operations but also the bar and hospitality services. This position is central to providing an outstanding experience to our community, where sports and social events come together.
This 12-month fixed-term contract for 39 hours per week offers you the chance to drive the success of bar operations alongside our sporting activities, with the potential to extend.

Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ensuring stock levels, and compliance with licensing regulations.
Lead the bar and hospitality team, focusing on excellent customer service, staff training, and quality control.
Manage the provision of activities and events across two sites, with a focus on bar service during peak hours and special events.
Act as the primary contact for members, event organisers, and external authorities, ensuring all bar-related health and safety standards are met.
Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and audits specific to bar operations, providing monthly updates to the Board.
Plan and execute engaging social events and bar promotions, enhancing the club's atmosphere and community appeal.The ideal candidate will have:
Management or supervisory experience in a hospitality-focused role, with bar management experience preferred.
A valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
