An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Professional to work for BAE Systems at their Samlesbury site. As a Supply Chain Professional, you will play a fundamental role in supporting the Customer Operational requirements for a Saudi customer. You will be required to co-ordinate and deliver customer requirements within stringent timescales. Interaction with key stakeholders across all business functions is integral to the role. You will be responsible for managing the expediting and delivery of the order book to the customer. A good working knowledge of IFS APP7/ ERP system experience is desirable but training will be provided.
Duties will involve
Order Book Management
Liaising with the customer
Raising of IEDBs
Use of Microsoft packages
Updating databases
IFS App7 experience (desirable)
The successful candidate will have previous supply chain experience and be customer focused with good attention to detail. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and have good communication and team working skills.
