Job Description

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Construction Manager for our client’s new-build construction site in Co. Kildare, Dublin, Ireland. This is a fixed-term contract running from November 2024 to May 2025, offering a competitive salary and weekday accommodation.

Position Details:

* Role: Construction Manager

* Contract: Fixed-term (Nov 2024 – May 2025)

* Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 (pro rata) plus weekday accommodation

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am/8 am – 5 pm (includes a 1-hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination

* Develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets.

* Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.

Construction Oversight

* Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

* Conduct site inspections and safety audits.

Team Leadership

* Lead construction teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.

* Guide and support project teams, resolving challenges effectively.

Quality Assurance

* Enforce quality control measures to meet industry standards.

* Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Client Relations

* Act as the main contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.

* Build and maintain client relationships for potential long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

* Proven experience as a Construction Manager with a record of successful projects.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
