Position: Administrator
Location: Southwark, London
Contract: Full-Time, Long Term, Temp to Perm options available for the right applicant
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: Mon 4th Nov - July 2025
Are you an organized and proactive individual with recent experience in school administration? Our large and welcoming Primary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated administrator to support our school office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our school and be part of a supportive community.
Administrator Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general inquiries.
Maintain accurate student and staff records, including attendance and contact information.
Assist with the preparation of school documents, reports, and correspondence.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments as required.
Provide support for school admissions and registration processes.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
Support the school's financial processes, including processing invoices and monitoring budgets.
Assist with the organization of school events and activities.
Maintain a welcoming and efficient front office environment.
Key Requirements:
Recent experience in a school administration role, with a good understanding of school systems and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using office software, including SIMS, ParentPay, Arbour, Scholar Pack, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding support to staff, students, and parents.
An understanding of and respect for the Catholic ethos of the school.
