NATS are looking for a Business Support Manager to join them on a contract basis at their site in Whiteley.
2-3 days a week onsite in Whiteley.
Open to rates, dependant on experience, inside IR35.
6 month initial contract.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be willing to obtain full SC Clearance.Principal Accountabilities
Working closely with the AUSAM Leadership Team to produce, deliver and maintain the divisions' Business Plan in line with NATS Business Planning Process, ensuring commitments are aligned with NATS strategic aims and clear targets and objectives are cascaded consistently.
Ensure that correct business processes are in place, are dynamic to support AUSAM business direction and deliverables, and are being used effectively across the AUSAM Portfolio.
Support the AUSAM Leadership Team in effective decision making and governance through the provision of timely and accurate management information.
Liaise closely with the AUSAM Finance Manager in tracking and facilitating achievement of the business plan. Manage the order book and financial budgets to drive performance to meet business plan targets
Oversee the process for purchase requests, invoicing and act as focal point for ICA creation and delivery to plan to include monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
Manage business performance data from a variety of sources to strict timescales. Analyse and validate the data ensuring there is consistency and resolve any conflicts at source.
Produce a range of reports, presentations and related materials on behalf of the Head of AUSAM and the AUSAM Leadership Team using data and information from various systems.
Ensure all business reporting is delivered in line with governance and stakeholder requirements and assists in the effective running of the AUSAM P&L including co-chairing of CRB and PRB's as appropriate.
Initiate and lead improvement activities within AUSAM and across functional boundaries to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and drive customer focused change.
Drive projects through to successful implementation and realisation of benefits.
Track and monitor AUSAM resourcing to meet business demand, ensure training and succession plans are in place and proactively managed.
Liaising with AUSAM Management Team and AUSAM cross functional leadership team, ensure resource is appropriately used in line with business priorities, negotiating as appropriate to reach agreement between demand and supply.
Manage the AUSAM business risk process to include identifying risks and addressing proactively.
Ensure business leads and opportunities are appropriately catalogued and managed within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Other business management activities as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Educated to Degree level in Business Discipline coupled with substantial experience in a relevant field.
Proven experience in working to tight deadlines, large volumes of information and need to multis task, whilst driving and improving business performance for service excellence and the achievement of key business deliverables.
Highly motivated with a strong commitment to the attainment of company and personal goals, displaying a positive and proactive attitude to initiating and driving change.
Tenacious, prepared to positively challenge current thinking and accept challenge. Persuasive, influential with strong self-belief and confidence whilst being able to consistently apply sound judgement.
A clear, logical thinker with the ability to understand and structure financial and business data to support effective decision making.
Competent in creating monthly management reports and presentations working with the senior leaders to tight timeframes, presenting to colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
Self-reliant, proactive and decisive, with the initiative to solve problems independently.
Proficient keyboard skills, with excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SharePoint.
Knowledge of NATS management system along with regulatory and statutory requirement is highly needed - (although training can be given)
