Ground Worker

Location: Manchester

Salary: 18-22 per hour

Role Overview:

As a Ground Worker, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining construction sites. You’ll work alongside skilled tradespeople and contribute to various projects, ensuring that all groundwork is executed efficiently and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out general groundworks including excavation, trenching, and landscaping.

* Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.

* Assist with the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other structures.

* Ensure the site is clean, safe, and organized.

* Follow instructions from site supervisors and collaborate with team members.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience as a Ground Worker or in a similar role preferred.

* Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

* Ability to operate construction machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers) is an advantage.

* CSCS card is desirable.

* Strong physical fitness and stamina.

* Good teamwork and communication skills.
