Autism Support Assistant -Bradford
Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 years old on a full-time term time only basis. This is a role to start as soon as possible.
Your role would be based in a school in Huddersfield that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 15.30. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons
* Helping the pupils regulate
* Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive
* Assist with personal care
Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:
* Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
* Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30
* Comfortable providing personal care
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
