About the role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting and recruiting top talent to support our business operations across the UK. You will be responsible for the office-based vacancies across the UK, and we shall need you to be responsible for -
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best fit for various roles.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide expert advice.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

About you
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or in a similar role. We want you to help define and shape our recruitment strategy, ensuring an excellent candidate experience. You should possess a strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), jobs boards and HR basic knowledge of HR processes is required. While knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry is a plus, the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is crucial.
