Are you passionate about creating safe, sustainable communities? Join our Client's Surrey team as a Specialist Housing Officer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tenancy and community management services.

Key Responsibilities

* Neighborhood Management: Oversee a defined area, delivering responsive housing management services that meet customer satisfaction and value-for-money goals.

* Resident Engagement: Lead initiatives to foster resident engagement, community development, and consultative efforts to enhance customer-focused services.

* Tenancy Enforcement & Guidance: Advise residents on their tenancy rights, enforce conditions when necessary, and provide support for legal actions, including acting as a witness in court if needed.

* Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Management: Address and resolve ASB complaints, working closely with residents and partner agencies to create safer communities.

* Collaborative Working: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Repairs, Rehousing, Family Support) and external agencies to ensure the holistic support of tenants.

* Leasehold Management: Manage queries and communications with leaseholders regarding service charges, maintenance, and improvement programs.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in tenancy or housing management, ideally within a social housing or community-focused setting.

* Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy sustainment, and ASB management.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse residents and partner agencies.

* Proactive problem-solver with experience in resident engagement and community initiatives.
