Job Description

Weighbridge Operator required for full time temporary role based in Avonmouth, BS11. This is a great opportunity for someone from an industrial (waste, metals, recycling etc) background with strong administration and customer service skills.

Monday – Friday, 09.00 – 17:30

£13.81 per hour

Approx. 15 minutes walk from St Andrews Road train station or free parking on site

Working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

About the job

Assisting in the administration of all aspects of depot activities and overseeing all facets of weighbridge operations.

Recording all materials in and out of the site and data entry.

Deal with incoming telephone enquiries and visitors to the site in a friendly and professional manner

Co-ordinate with yard personnel to ensure the correct processing of all loads

Ensure that incoming/outgoing loads are processed as per weighbridge operator Standard operating procedure.

Industrial background

Good customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel etc.) and the ability to learn new processes
