Contract Product Manager (OIR35)
Contract Length: 6- months
Location: Remote with some in-office collaboration (if required)
Rate - c500/day outside IR35
Project Timeline: Completion by April 2025
Project Overview
As the Product Manager, you will be delivering a time-sensitive projects hat is consolidating two existing intranets into a single, unified platform using modern SharePoint. This new platform will create a seamless and collaborative experience for employees, support the corporate strategy, and enhance internal communication and alignment.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong understanding of modern SharePoint. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end delivery of this consolidated intranet, aligning with stakeholders, setting the product roadmap, and overseeing migration from SharePoint Classic to the new SharePoint Modern site. Key responsibilities include project planning, vision setting, content migration, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Intranet Development: Oversee the migration of content, creation of a new homepage, content pages, and a cohesive branding experience.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with UX specialists, the internal communications team, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
Content Management: Develop a robust content framework, validate existing content, and establish a centralised content management policy.
Project Roadmap and Vision: Establish and communicate the roadmap for go-live in April 2025 and the future direction of the intranet.
Agile Project Management: Use Agile methodology to deliver timely updates, address blockers, and ensure quality assurance.
Reporting and Analysis: Create dashboards and reporting tools to track intranet usage, adoption, and performance.
User Training: Provide knowledge transfer and training to business teams for ongoing content managementRequirements
Proven experience in SharePoint-based intranet development
Expertise in Agile methodologies
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience working with content management and user experience standards
