Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Business Partner:* Liaise with executives and functional leaders to understand cost drivers.
* Produce detailed reports offering insights for budget owners.
* Maintain a phased full-year forecast.
* Ad-Hoc Financial Activities: Engage in price variance analysis, cost amendments and process mapping.Requirements:* A recognised professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or similar).
* A must have is past council experience
* Significant experience in financial reporting and a proven record of continuous improvement.
* Strong analytically, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to deadlines.
