Job Description

Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading Power Operator within the Global Power Industry to recruit 2x Commissioning Operators on an initial 6 months contract basis for its Waste to Energy facility based in Olsztyn, Poland.

The Commissioning Operator role comes with a day rate from €400.00 to €500.00. Accommodation will be provided local to the site in Olsztyn

Key skills and responsibilities:

Leading and executing all cold & hot commissioning activities for their Waste to Energy facility based in Olsztyn.

Hands-on commissioning of the plant from Cold to Hot testing, and handover.

Cooperation with internal team members, guidance and coordination of external partners and sub-contractors, interacting with customers.

Coordination of all necessary activities with all involved parties, such as commissioning team, erection team and sub-contractors

Participation in the walk-downs for Turnover from construction to commissioning, identifying open items that prevent system start-up.

Preparation and update of the commissioning procedures to be conducted on site.

Manage the documentation submission for project close-out, and work closely with the O&M team for a successful transition from Commissioning through to Operations.

Report to the Commissioning Manager for projects findings including faults, maintenance etc.

Provide theoretical and practical training to customer personnel.

BEng /HND in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical etc)

Strong team spirit, working with an international team and other cultures.

Waste to Energy background is essential for this position.
