Job Description:

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Trampers to join Driver Hire in Barnsley for a leading UK value retailer. This role is perfect for drivers who are comfortable with night outs and seeking ongoing work with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the delivery of goods across the UK.

* Complete long-haul deliveries, often requiring nights out.

* Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

* Assist with loading and unloading as required.

* Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence (C+E).

* CPC qualification and valid tachograph card.

* Previous experience as a Trampers driver preferred.

* Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.

* Ability to work nights away from home comfortably.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.

* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
