PURPOSE OF ROLE – Installation Technician Contractor
To successfully manufacture/assemble build-to-print units within pre-determined time and cost parameters and to meet specified quality requirements. To assist Engineering design in development tasks and to refurbish/repair items as defined in specific contracts
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Job specific responsibilities
To be able to perform two or more of the following:
* Installation of mechanical items to vehicles/shelters and other similar units to sketches/drawings
* Assembly/fitting of electro-mechanical items to sketches/drawings
* Testing of fitted sub-assembly/systems to defined specifications
* Installation of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies
* Installation of AC/DC power distribution systems
GENERAL
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to be flexible and work outside core hours on occasion.
* Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions & meet UK government security vetting criteria.

* The job holder will require a valid driving licence.
